In 3Q2023 Royal Group completed the acquisition of 100% of Beirut Hotel Hurghada from its existing shareholders and is currently renovating the property. The Hotel is a waterfront property, conveniently located on the center of Hurghada with amenities including a marina and will be rebranded after the renovation works are completed 

RCT Development’s Gulf of Aqaba resort is currently under construction on a 200,000 sqm beach front land plot located in Taba Golden Coast (Wadi el Mahashi); approximately 1 km away from Orascom Hotel Development’s Taba Heights. The company also has approximately a 14% equity participation in the utilities company in the area of Taba Golden Coast.

Royal Travel & Tourist Agency is the oldest of the groups affiliates and its services include ticketing, inbound handling, outbound planning and transportation. It is a member of the International Air Transport Association and maintains a close relationship with airlines and GDSs including Amadeus IT. As an agency it has historically ranked among top sellers on airlines including KLM, Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa among others.

An exited investment; Royal Crown Hotel was the group’s first venture into the hospitality industry. It is located in Heliopolis district of Cairo and was acquired in 1993 as a shell building and developed into a 3-star property, which was then sold in 2006.  

Royal was also affiliated with an indirect minority investment in Glory 45 Mall; a commercial real estate property in a prime location in 6th of October city with 80+ retail units and approximately 16,000 sqm of leasable space. The property’s anchor tenants include brands such as McDonald's, Blom Bank and Al Othaim Supermarkets.
